Back O Bennachie
Thurs 21 June, starting 9am, outside Inverurie Town Hall
A bus tour for the Syrian women of Inverurie, and locals alike
A bus tour to welcome the women of our local community of Syrian New Scots to more of Aberdeenshire's countryside, and a chance for exchange between our two communities. Leaving Inverurie Town Hall at 9am, we'll explore iconic views and landmarks around western Aberdeenshire, sharing songs along the way and arriving back in Inverurie at 4pm.
We'll travel from the foothills of Aberdeenshire's favourite hill, Bennachie, to rugged moor and coast, and back again. Bring your own picnic lunch, and share in this special day out. There will also be opportunity to enjoy tea and cake at Deveron Projects, whilst viewing Who is? Project - an exhibition of posters by Iman Tajik and Jonas Jessen Hansen, currently showing on billboards around Glasgow.
This event is free but booking is essential. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01466 794494 to book your seat.
