Design in Motion
Wed 8 April, all day, The Square, Huntly
Travelling Gallery V&A Exhibition
Design in Motion will showcase innovative Scottish designers who use digital technology to push the boundaries of their discipline, be it games, product, jewellery, fashion, textiles; even to virtually recreate the past. This will include practitioners such as Geoffrey Mann alongside games designer Sophia George and jewellery designer Lynne Maclachlan.
Design in Motion will be an engaging, interactive experience designed to inspire future designers and innovators. The exhibition will be accompanied by a learning resource, an events programme and a mobile app. The exhibition is designed to encourage people all over Scotland to talk about design; and to provide insight into the innovation, aspiration and ambition of V&A Dundee.
The Travelling Gallery is a custom- built, mobile, contemporary art space inside a big beautiful bus, which brings high quality exhibitions and events to schools and communities throughout Scotland.
