Simon Mcphun talk: gardens and the landscape
Simon has a long history with horticulture, having his first paid job as a gardener when he was only thirteen years old. After leaving college he worked as a tree surgeon before moving into commercial horticulture, where he grew food crops.
He went on to become Head Gardener at College Gardens in Cambridge, Leith Hall and Inverewe Garden in Wester Ross. He has been self-employed for the last 14 years as a Garden Makar (not a misspelling), designing, creating and caring for gardens and landscapes.
