Join us for a double launch day exploring land-use through two very different projects. 

/ Cooking the Landscape: Rhynie Woman
9am - 1pm, Huntly Farmers’ Market
Launch of new cookbook and opportunity to sample some foraged creations.
We are very excited to be launching the Rhynie Woman cookbook — the outcome of a yearlong residency with us. Join them at the Farmers' Market to get your copy. Debbie and Daisy will be firing up the Rhynie Woman pizza oven and serving seasonal Huntly pizzas!

/ Imprint/Abandon: Musical Tour with Aidan O'Rourke
12pm, meet in Huntly Square
Celebrating the launch of his new CD with a bus and walking tour around the Cabrach; visiting Wallakirk,  Cabrach School and Bracklach. Followed by discussion and a short concert at the Acorn Centre, Cabrach.*  Booking essential

12-4.30pm: Join Aidan on a bus and walking tour around 3 of the sites that inspired his new cd, Imprint. A chance to hear some of the music and learn about the area. At each of these locations sound Geocaches will be installed, each containing a link to unlock a track from the album. Bring packed lunch.

5-7pm:  Discussion on land use from past, present and future perspectives in the Acorn Centre, Cabrach with: Dr Gordon Noble, Archaeologist/University of Aberdeen; Ian Douglas, Access Manager for Moray; John MacKenzie, Head Keeper Cabrach and Glenfiddich Estate.
Followed by a short concert and light supper.

*Please note this will include a +5km walk to one of the sites. Sturdy boots are advised. Please also check out our walking guide.
