Alphabet Soup
What's in your soup pot? Butternut squash the colour of sunshine? Fiery ginger from a dragon's lair? The forever onion? Or maybe something unexpected...?
Join us online for an afternoon of interactive storytelling, song and poetry performances - all about food. Alphabet Soup will be served (and watch this space for the recipe so you can serve up your own at home!).
There is a poetry competition too - the winning poems will be recited by our smorgasbord of characters during the event.
It is hoped that this fun event will help wee folk to engage with their food - something that is being encouraged by local initiatives such as the Huntly Food Plan, which seeks to develop healthier long term relationships with food, and stronger connections between north east communities and their local growers.
Alphabet Soup was originally planned to be held in the Neep & Okra Kitchen at 8 Castle Street but will now take place online, over the free Zoom app. Simply click on the hyperlink below at 1pm on Tuesday 21 April.
