This house believes we can be a military free country?

Around 15 countries currently operate without any form of military, with more functioning in a partially demilitarised state, could our country be one of them? Join Mike Martin, secretary of Aberdeen and District CND group and former secretary of Scottish CND (2005-06), and ex-serviceman Major Mike Taitt, a Gordon Highlander for twenty years (1963 to 1983), in a public debate about demilitarisation. They will be joined by two students from the Gordon Schools. Historian Patrick Scott will give a short introduction on World War 1 in Huntly.
