Food Chain: Bangladeshi Boal Fish Curry
Join us to learn how to make this homely favourite of Bangladeshi cuisine, with its fresh flavours from the coast. Our guide will be Emrana Tahmina - a seasoned home cook who hosts her own Youtube cookery sessions and whose family run the much loved Cafe India restaurant in Huntly.
Shopping list for you to cook along at home:
6 steak-size pieces of boal fish (you can use any other fish if you like)
2 medium sized onions
5 cloves of garlic
7-8 baby potatoes
Half a cup of cooking oil (any kind)
Salt
Chilli powder
Ground turmeric
Ground coriander
Curry powder
Bunch of fresh coriander
3-4 green chillies (optional)
