Food Chain: Korean Japchae

November's Food Chain workshop was  lead by Huntly local Undra Astbury, who shared how to throw together a delicious Korean Japchae.

You can read the recipe that Undra uses here!

A note from Undra -

Japchae is usually served at special occasions and parties as part of a buffet; people help themselves from a big bowl, which is what we'll be recreating at Food Chain. I loved Japchae when I lived in Korea, but I only started making it in Scotland very recently when online shops started selling glass noodles (also called sweet potato noodles). Everything is cooked separately for Japchae which helps the individual flavours develop, before it all gets tossed together in a bowl.  About Food Chain
