This month, we learned about some of the delicious food for free that can be foraged around Huntly at this time of year with Rhynie Woman, aka artists Debbi Beeson and Daisy Williamson. We made rumbledethumps, a warming Scottish dish of mashed tatties and neeps, that Debbi makes with wild garlic and elderberry molasses on the side. Daisy showed a simple and delicious method for making oatcakes to go alongside. Both dishes are gluten free, and have the option to make them vegan too.
