Annie Runkel is an artist and poet based in Glasgow, currently completing a PhD on boredom. She was in residence with Deveron Projects in summer 2021, working on a project entitled To Huntly, With Love, which explored slower communication and celebrated the ancient practice of letter writing. For Friday Lunch, Annie shared updates on her project, tips on writing your own letter to Huntly and some fantastic examples of local and celebrity, old and new letters. Lots of discussion was shared on the future of letter writing and our personal experiences with letters!
