The Brian Nisbet Poetry Award  was established 9 years ago to celebrate the life of Huntly Writers' poet and musician Brian Nisbet. Run in collaboration with Orb's Bookshop  and Huntly Writers group, entries are sent from all over the world and judged by a panel anonymously, with poems previously included in the Huntly Writers book "Speaking Back".  Come along to hear some readings of previous entries, find out how to enter, and learn about the background and theme for 2024's award, which ties in with the 200th birthday of Huntly-born author George MacDonald.Lunch: caramelised onion & potato bake with salad, plum & apple cake
