This week we heard an update from representatives of the local secondary school, The Gordon Schools. Teachers Ally Carle, Sibylle McLeod and Sara McGowan will share how teachers are working towards The Gordon Schools becoming a ‘rights respecting school’, building from the UN Rights of the Child. They will also give an update on what the teachers and pupils have been doing to improve sustainability, with projects exploring fast fashion, recycling, gardening and climate-ready classrooms, and on the international school award activities with partner schools.
