Friday 25th March: The Nordic Ski Centre, Celebrating 30 Years of the Ski Centre

Huntly's famous Nordic Ski Centre turns 30 in 2022. To help celebrate, our Friday Lunch took place at the ski centre, and featured folk of the centre speaking about the past, present and futures of skiing in and around Huntly. The lunch had contributions from Sandy Mitchel (Chairman of the original steering group), Andy Miller (former Recreation Officer for Aberdeenshire Council and instrumental in the setting up of the roller ski track), Susi Mclarty (Live Life Aberdeenshire) and Elspeth and Logan who are current club athletes. Birthday cake wasn't missing either, followed by an optional ski around the centre!
