Petra Vergunst is a writer and artist based in the northeast of Scotland. Inspired by local landscape and heritage her work investigates the multi-layered relationships we maintain with our natural and historical environments.

Petra has recently written a long narrative poem, Embrace, in which she investigates her relationship with woodlands. This explores deep connections with the natural world, shaped as a conversation through the text. Petra joins us to talk about her writing and process.
