Former Army Major with the Gordon Highlanders, Mike Taitt, is Chairman for the Aberdeen and District committee of the Scottish Veterans' Garden City Association. The organisation provides accommodtion and support for ex-serviceman with disabilities, and has responsibility for 48 homes.
