Dr. Blake Morris will be outlining his definition for walking as an artistic medium, based on his recent doctoral research (Walking Networks: The Development of an Artistic Medium). Additionally, he will discuss how his latest walking work A Wander is Not a Slog, which builds asks how walking can facilitate the global exchange of local experiences through an exploration of 54 instructions for walks created by members of the Walking Artists Network.
