Composer David Ward will share a little of his musical creative process from B means B. The work brings together musically challenging and seemingly disparate elements in one piece. From the huge, wide-ranging voice of the dramatic mezzo; to the smaller, lyrical voice of the Scottish traditional singer; to the layering of David's own musical personality over a range of popular styles, including traditional folk, 12-bar blues and a passing reference to Beyoncé.
