October Farmer's Market

Alongside the market on Saturday 3rd October, Deveron Projects ran activities as part of Tiny Fun Palaces's weekend of action. The annual festival links joyful creative-participative popup happenings in communities across the UK. The grass-roots culture of the festival promotes the idea that everyone can be an artist, maker, town planner or performer- and many more creative roles!

The Tiny Fun Palace activities in Huntly Square playfully explored ways to have fun and be imaginative while keeping safe. Here was our line up for the day:

From 10am there was a Distanced Gossip Switchboard, allowing intimate conversations to take place quietly across safe distances; and little ones and adults alike were invited to add to an imaginative chalk drawing of their ideal 'Huntly in One Street'.

From 9 - 12 Neep & Okra served takeaway brunch from the door of No.8 Castle Street.
