March Farmers' Market
Calling all book worms (and those that aren't too)! It's World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March, and in a week that celebrates the infinite stories, words, knowledge and languages that books give us, we'll be getting out our own libraries for market goers to browse through. Alongside this, we'll be thinking and chatting about what a community library could look like and how we can open these books up to everyone. Our collections cover books on salads, politics, mushrooms, Lebanese cooking, maps, walking, beekeeping, compost... the list goes on and on! Come and have a browse, a cuppa and a chat about what the future of these pages could be.
For other library and book related activity in Huntly, check out Orbs Community Bookshop, the Huntly Writers, the Strathbogie Seed Collective (a library of seeds!), Bookbug sessions for children, our own Reading Together events, and remember to support Huntly's local library in the Brander Building.
Thanks to Dave Simpson for the head image.
