We're back at the Farmers' Market after last month's weather induced cancellation! In March we teamed up with Strathbogie Seed Collective, the Huntly based community seed library that is held for public use at its home in Orb's Bookshop.

Our stall was laden with bags of seed potatoes and packets of giant pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, which were free to take as part of the Collective's new project Grow Together, running from March until the Huntly Hairst in September. Grow Together, produced with Neep & Okra, aims to get children and families growing food from scratch - think September chips from your March planted tatties, or pumpkin pie nurtured all the way from seed!

One Seed Forward were also providing larger bags of potatoes for allotment and garden growers which we had at the stall available for pick up too.
