Annual General Review 2024

It’s that time again! Come along for our Annual General Review – our creative and collaborative event where we ask you how you’ve found our work this year and invite you to input into Deveron Projects’ future direction. You are welcome to attend if you have come along to lots of events, just a few or even not at all – all voices are welcomed.

This year, join us for a hands-on workshop led by the Deveron Projects team with graphic designer Tom Joyes, followed by a tasty dinner and discussion. We will be focusing on 6 projects and regular programmes, including Caretakers’ Garden, The Gathering Table, Good Gut!, Art Road Trip, Food Chain and Friday Lunch.

In the workshop, we will reflect on these projects together, before exploring how they were communicated, recorded and promoted. Through discussion, creative writing and/or collage we will critique posters, flyers and articles/reviews to record our different experiences and opinions, and to test out different ways of explaining what Deveron Projects does. We will think about what makes effective communication, how this can invite or exclude people, and how our different experiences of the events and projects are reflected in what’s recorded.

All of the learning from this event will support future programme planning, our communications strategy, and a new visual identity for Deveron Projects! We hope you can make it.

This event will take place in person in Square Deal. There is an access guide for Square Deal online here including photos and sensory information about the space, information about level access and bathrooms, among other details.

If you would like to come along but will struggle for transport, please get in touch as we are going to test out co-ordinating car shares.

Children and young people are welcome to come along. There are a few toys and puzzles for younger children if they don’t want to join in with the event.

This event includes a meal. There will be vegan and gluten free options. If you have any allergies or requirements, please let us know when you book a space.
