Aberdeen Live: New Aberdeenshire map to showcase collection of 'distinct' Huntly artworks

"A new trail map showcasing some of Huntly’s latest “distinct” artworks will launch next weekend. Huntly-based arts organisation Deveron Projects is behind the project.

The updated map will point out the location of 14 specific art pieces, selected from the organisation’s collection of more than 80 artworks known as the Town Collection.

This latest collection includes the newly installed artworks of Januario Jano, Irineu Destourelles and Jacqueline Donachie.

The free art map will be launched next Saturday (August 5) at the Huntly Farmers’ Market where Deveron Projects has a regular stall.

They will be available to pick up for locals and visitors alike to explore the collection at their own pace.

But two guided tours will also run on the day for those who would like more information to go along with them."
