Cabrach Stashes Track Caches

During his residency at Deveron Arts, composer and musician Aidan O’Rourke walked among abandoned Cabrach settlements and spent time with historians, archaeologists and local enthusiasts. He wrote music inspired by these experiences, and made recordings of the musical meditations. These recordings culminated in the release of his CD, Imprint.

Tracks from Imprint are being made available for free download in the areas from which Aidan drew his inspiration. The first and fifth tracks from the CD are now geocached in their corresponding locations, encouraging listeners to visit and better immerse themselves in the atmosphere which the tracks are intended to evoke. The remaining tracks will be released periodically, and will be announced here.
