Huntly Cultural Fund

A fund to put Huntly even more firmly on the creative map has resulted in a bumper pack of projects for the years ahead.

The Huntly Cultural Fund set up as a result of the town's Creative Place Award 2013 success, attracted 68 applications by the closing date of 29th April and the funds available were almost 3 times oversubscribed. The seven-strong community evaluation panel met recently to decide on the applications received. The standard of applications was high and only after a rigorous scoring and ranking process against the scheme criteria did the winners emerge.
