Xenson has arrived!

Our next artist in residence has arrived from Uganda and will be staying with us until August.

Together with artist Sanaa Gateja, Xenson is exploring the life and work of Ugandan explorer, Alexander MacKay.

While MacKay and his life, mission and work is known to almost everybody in Uganda, little is known about him back in Scotland, his home country. Xenson and Sanaa intend to bring his story back to the country of his birth, reversing the flow of his teachings and investigating the spiritual and communal condition of his roots by walking a boat, conducting services, making unusual things....
