The White Wood, a woodland conceived as a living monument to peace by artist Caroline Wendling, can be found just outside of Huntly in the Bin Forest. It unites German oaks, French stone and Scottish Soil, symbolically reflect peace between nations. Planted by the artist and the communities of Huntly, the woodland will continue to grow over the next 300 years. This publication includes a conversation between Caroline Wendling and Claudia Zeiske, as well as essays from Alan Macpherson, Lotte Juul Petersen, Steve Brown and Colin Shepherd.
