Deveron Projects stall at Huntly Farmers Market

Huntly is a former market town, to which people have long travelled to buy, sell and trade. Markets are equally important for connecting with others, sharing news, organising and celebrating together. Deveron Projects’ stall at Huntly Farmers' Market contributes to these roots by sharing free activities and artist projects that explore and hold space for the vital social role of marketplaces.

Each month we share aspects of our work through family-friendly activities, cuppas and conversation on our stall. From artist’s projects, to our community hub or gardens, local issues to international connections, and much more, drop by to learn what’s going on, to share your perspectives and opinions, and get involved with Deveron Projects.

About the Home Programme

The stall at Huntly Farmers' Market is part of our HOME Programme. Through regular events and artists’ residencies, HOME supports the everyday and creative practices of cooking and eating, chatting and caring, sharing skills and learning together. HOME regular events include Friday Lunch, as well as the monthly Food Chain and a stall at the Huntly Farmers' Market. These events celebrate local knowledge and experiences, and explore what it's like to live and work in and around Huntly. Through this work we aim to build more complex understandings of Huntly and its place in the world.

If you'd like to contribute to the HOME Programme, or know someone who you'd love to hear from, then get in touch with us on: bruce@deveron-projects.com.
