Food Chain to celebrate Lunar New Year with Huntly Multicultural Group (2025)

Food Chain is a community-led cookery workshop, celebrating the diversity of cultures and cuisines within our local communities in Huntly. It's an informal, fun and friendly event, in which a member of our local community in Huntly shares a recipe that means something to them and reminds them of home. Once we have cooked the dish, we will sit and enjoy eating it together.

Anyone is welcome to join in, but please book your space as these events are popular! Find out what's coming up next here.

About the Home Programme

Food Chain is part of our HOME Programme. Through regular events and artists’ residencies, HOME supports the everyday and creative practices of cooking and eating, chatting and caring, sharing skills and learning together. HOME regular events include Friday Lunch, as well as the monthly Food Chain and a stall at the Huntly Farmers' Market. These events celebrate local knowledge and experiences, and explore what it's like to live and work in and around Huntly. Through this work we aim to build more complex understandings of Huntly and its place in the world.

If you'd like to contribute to the HOME Programme, or know someone who you'd love to hear from, then get in touch with us on: bruce@deveron-projects.com.
