July Farmers' Market: Huntly Personals

Looking for a companion? Have a skill to share? Want to swap homegrown veg? Need help with something? Then post it on the Huntly Personals, a new message board at the monthly Huntly Framers Market.

Inspired by newspaper classifieds and personal columns, the Huntly Personals offers an in-person way for people to connect and exchange. Just drop by the Deveron Projects market stall and fill out a card for what you are seeking or offering and pin it to the message board. All contact details are anonymised and our team will let you know when we have found your match.

This month we have offers for learning crochet, tying knots and CV help. Find Huntly Personals in The Square opposite Nickel ‘N’ Dime.

This activity is free and open to everyone, no booking required.

About the Home Market Stall

Huntly is a former market town, to which people have long travelled to buy, sell and trade. Markets are equally important for connecting with others, sharing news, organising and celebrating together. Deveron Projects’ stall at Huntly Farmers Market contributes to these roots by sharing free activities, initiatives and artist projects that explore and hold space for the vital social role of marketplaces.

Accessibility

The Deveron Projects market stall is a family friendly event and children are very welcome.

The Town Square is closed to traffic during the Huntly Farmers Market. Free car parking can be found nearby on Castle Street. Click here for a google map link.

About the Home Programme

This event is part of our HOME Programme. Through regular events and artists’ residencies, HOME supports the everyday and creative practices of cooking and eating, chatting and caring, sharing skills and learning together. HOME regular events include Friday Lunch, as well as the monthly Food Chain and a stall at the Huntly Farmers' Market. These events celebrate local knowledge and experiences, and explore what it's like to live and work in and around Huntly. Through this work we aim to build more complex understandings of Huntly and its place in the world. If you'd like to contribute to the HOME Programme, or know someone who you'd love to hear from, then get in touch with us on: info@deveron-projects.com.
